Thanks for sharing your story. I hope you feel better soon!! The lack of proper diagnosis and treatment for endo is appalling. Before I was diagnosed (25+ years ago), I had a gynecologist give me a quick exam and tell me that I could not possibly have it. Several doctors later, got my CORRECT diagnosis and it turned out that my ovary was swollen to the size of an orange and at risk of bursting.
It is just so disappointing that in 2025 this is still how it is.
I’m so mad at medicine for not having got a better approach to endo. Apparently‘female’ medical research is only 2.5% of all research done 🤷🏻♀️
